Contact BuildLumi

Email [email protected] to report a wrong number, ask about a calculation or suggest a calculator.

What to include when you report a result

A result can only be checked if it can be reproduced. Please send:

  • the calculator page you used (its address);
  • the inputs you entered, including the unit system (US or metric) and any allowance, density or coverage you changed;
  • the result you got and the result you expected, with the source of your figure if you have one (a product label, a data sheet or a supplier quote).

Reported numbers are checked against the original source before anything on the site changes. How formulas and sources are chosen is explained on the methodology page.

What this address is not for

BuildLumi does not design structures, review plans, give code or permit advice, or sell materials. For those, contact a licensed professional, your local building department or your supplier. See the calculation disclaimer.
